Logistics DC Coordinator

CHALLENGE

Join our Logistics team in a semi-automated Distribution Center that guarantees the order fulfillment for over 1000 stores in more than 70 countries. You will be leading an operational team and implementing strategies to achieve better service levels and efficiency through process optimization and talent development. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Staffing according to business needs in terms of service level and cost, being responsible for logistics operations and workflow, from inbound to outbound.
• Day-to-day duties, ensuring proper balance between workload, headcount, productivity goals, service levels expectations and order fulfillment cut offs, through KPI management.
• Lead a team of Supervisors, indirectly an operational team over 100 people across shifts, including people development, training, constantly encouraging, motivating and strengthen our teams.
• Developing and collaborating in initiatives to improve efficiency, service and quality of the Distribution Centre

PROFILE:

• Degree in Engineering/Business Administration areas, or professional training in Logistics area.
• 3+ professional experience in similar job role, preferential in a third-party logistics or in a consumer goods environment.
• Demonstrable experience in leading teams, in a highly variable demand environments, running labor force flexibility programs to face them.
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability, results driven.
• Experience in managing by KPIs and participating in Kaizen activities.
• Good communication skills, being fluent in Portuguese (written and spoken). English will be valued.
